Meg and Joe Bocker look forward to welcoming you to their lovely bed and breakfast in beautiful Taupo. Rangimarie means "Peaceful Place" in Maori and our guests always comment on just how much it lives up to this name.

Cross over our wee bridge to some home baking, fresh tea or coffee and a warm welcome.

Rangimarie is set back from the road in an established garden full of native shrubs and trees.  We want you to make yourself at home here and have taken care to see that Rangimarie is very well equipped for your complete comfort and enjoyment. As we only run 2 lovely guest rooms, the Fern Room and the Magnolia Room your stay with us will be very quiet and private.  You can enjoy the facilities in our well appointed kitchen and make yourself at home in the large lounge.

Although we cannot allow you to bring your own pets you can choose to adopt our cat who may choose to befriend you.

Rangimarie is a lovely, quiet and relaxing bed and breakfast with peaceful rooms and stunning views of lake Taupo and mountains from the large deck. Because we are so close to town you can leave the car behind and stroll in to sample all Taupo has to offer. 

We are also very proud of the fact that we have been awarded an Enviro Silver award by Qualmark for our efforts to run in a manner that  minimises our environmental impact.  Find out more about this on our sustainability link.  We are trying hard to balance limiting our environmental impact while not compromising your comfort.

With so many activities around Taupo you really need to spend a few days here and Rangimarie is just the place to do that.  Whether you want to hurry round and try all the activities or just chill out, Rangimarie is the place for you. 

With facilities like a large screen TV, comfortable large lounge, books, CDs, DVDs and stunning views you can really put your feet up.  If you feel a bit more energetic ask Joe or Meg if you can borrow some tennis racquets or golf clubs.  (If you twist Joe's arm he might even be persuaded to join you for a game or to take you for a trip out in the boat sailing or fishing.)

The solar heated pool will be warm in Summer and ideal for a leisurely swim after seeing the sights. Any time of year what could be nicer than a soothing relax under the stars in the lovely Cedar hot tub spa?

Don't follow the herd, Taupo has all you need for unique New Zealand experiences, Maori Culture, Thermal Areas, Trout Fishing and plenty other activities right on its doorstep.
